Physicochemical and Phytochemicals investigation of Dooshivishari Agada by HPLC

Background: Dooshivishari Agad (DA) is an herbal formulation that has been documented in Indian Traditional Medicine as a remedy for latent poisoning. Objective: this research was conducted to study Physicochemical parameter & Phytochemical analysis of DA by HPLC. Methods: It includes authentication raw drugs and preparation DA. tested Loss on drying ,Acid insoluble Ash, Water soluble ash, Total ash value, Alcohol Extractive Value. HPLC used phytochemical screening. Observation: In analytical obtained values are 2.54%,Water Ash 1.84%, Acid 0.5% , value 5.20% Soluble Value 16.89%, 23.94%, pH 5.6.Preliminary data screening revealed it rich phenol compound terpenoids Conclusion: This provide the standardisation characterisation its pharmacological action.
